New York Times Access

Students, faculty and staff have full access to NYTimes.com and NYTimes mobile apps, as well as their international editions. Each registered user has unlimited archival access to all years before 1923 and after 1980 and five articles per day for the years 1923-1980.

To access your Academic Pass to NYTimes.com, each user must follow these steps:

Go to nytimes.com/grouppass.
Create a free NYTimes.com account using your Midland email. Students will input their perceived graduation year for unlimited access until the end of that year.
You have successfully claimed a Pass when you see the Start Your Access screen.
Now you can enjoy seamless full access. The usual expiration date is around four years.
Visit www.NYTimes.com/Mobile from an iPad, tablet or a smartphone’s web browser to download and log into the NYT app.

Wall Street Journal Access

The Luther Library has access to Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and MarketWatch.

If you would like to view articles from any of these, please send a request to library@midlandu.edu.
